Tony Stromberg and his team are organizing workshops throughout the year. Tony has been orchestrating and offering the equine photography workshops since 2003, and shares his 40 years of photography, 20+ years of which he has been concentrating on purely horses in all types of situations. Over the course of the last 20 years, he has established long-term relationships with horse owners, breeders and ranchers all over the world, and continues to teach his unique style in his own “down to earth” way, helping beginners as well as seasoned professionals to learn his special techniques in photographing our amazing equine friends.

Susan Pfeifer and Peter Clotten are responsible for the organization and logistics of the workshops abroad. Their most important task is scouting out and finding locations for the photo shoots. On top of the knowledge about the importance of background and lighting for the photographers, their horse sense is essential, of course, and the ability to convince the owners and handlers to let their valuable stallions gallop free across the pastures.
The planning is only the first step of a long process which finally ends with the implementation and taking care of the group. Only when the last guest is aboard the plane and starts their journey home content, is the job done. Both of the organizers have decades of travel experience, without it it would be almost impossible to plan the logistics. Foreign language skills, a fantastic talent for organizing and planning and a feel for the special and unique round off the profile. Susan Pfeifer and Peter Clotten are an integral part of the Tony Stromberg Photography workshops.
