October 15-20, 2017 FULL – Waitlist only
My workshops in the western U.S. continue to fill up very fast, and oftentimes well in advance. As a result, I have been putting a lot of effort into finding more workshop locations in the west. This is a ranch that I have been talking with for many months, and the owners and staff are very excited to host this workshop. I am confident this will become another popular workshop that we will continue every year, and I believe this one will also fill up very quickly.
The workshop takes place at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, in the hills just west of Loveland, Colorado. The ranch has a large number of beautiful horses for us to work with, with a lot of variety. This is a 5-night workshop and the ranch’s beautiful setting will provide a great variety of options for photography.
This is an all-inclusive workshop. You will have cozy room to stay in, three delicious meals a day, drinks, instruction and many shooting opportunities, as well as horseback riding, hiking, campfires, fishing, swimming, and just plain relaxing. The workshop will provide many opportunities for photographing our favorite subject in a variety of situations. Tony will share his entire creative process with participants… how to see and work with light, planning a shoot with the right angles and perspectives, choosing backgrounds, camera settings during the shoot, and all that goes into the creation of a dynamic image after it has been shot.
We will shoot at different times of day… mornings, afternoons and evenings, and will either be horseback riding (or other activities) in-between shoots, or editing and working with the images that we have been shooting. Riding is offered, but is not a requirement.
This workshop is easily accessible from Denver, and is an hour and 15 minute drive from the Denver airport.
Cost is $2700, and is limited to 12 participants.
Non-refundable deposit is $1200.
