Equine Photography in Southern France
September 19-27, 2018
The enchanting beauty of the rural French countryside, the small villages, the beautiful architecture and the amazing food has captured our hearts so much that we are offering this workshop again in 2018. Add some beautiful horses into the equation, and what more could you desire?
Although southern France is not “known” for horses, it is home to many who have left the more urban environment to pursue a life with horses in a setting that is much more conducive to a calm and tranquil way of life.
From the new work I have shot during the last several years, I think some of my favorite photos have come from the horses in this area. After six years of organizing workshops in southern France, I look forward to another adventure.
This is a 7-day, 8-night workshop that includes accommodations at a quaint hotel, travel to and from the airport, and transportation to the different shooting locations each day. We will be going to a different location each afternoon, and will be shooting some very nice horses… Lusitanos, Andalusians, Arabians, and more. This is an easy going workshop, and anyone that loves beautiful horses and scenery will be rewarded.
You will get to experience the beautiful and picturesque countryside of rural France, and you will be immersed in the culture. The region we will be staying in is known for it’s medieval chateaus and castles, and beautiful stone buildings, and there will be time in-between shooting and editing to explore the villages and also do some non-horse photography.
Cost is $3800 per person. Limited to 12 people.
Non-refundable deposit is $1800
